When to Visit Orlando for a Bachelorette Party
Orlando has beautiful weather year round and averages a high temperature of around 83 degrees. Yes, you read that right, Orlando averages a high of 83 degrees.
That being said, it should come as no surprise that the Summer gets a little too hot for a lot of people. It also gets extremely busy with families during the summer holiday so we recommend having your bachelorette party in the Spring or Fall.
If you’re not trying to get out on the water, the winter is a great time to visit Orlando.
Highs still average in the mid 70s and the crowds are not nearly as big unless you visit during holiday.
You can also save a lot of money visiting during the winter months!

Where to Stay in Orlando for your Bachelorette Party
Orlando and its surrounding area offer a huge variety of lodging options, allowing you to find the optimal spot for your group size and budget.
If your group is 8 or less, staying in two hotel rooms with two queens is a very popular, budget friendly option. It’s also nice to have hotel amenities and cleaning services.
If your group is larger than 8 people or you just want more space, getting a large AirBnB out of town is probably your best option!
- Downtown Orlando – Besides the Parks and outdoor activities, this is where you’ll find most of the action when it comes to dining and nightlife.
- Thornton Park – A centrally located, charming neighborhood that has luxurious Airbnbs. It also has great restaurants and bars, making it ideal for people who want a little of everything as long as cost is your number one priority.
- Kissimmee – While it’s 30 minutes away from Downtown Orlando, it’s pretty close to Disney World. You can also book a 4+ room Airbnb with its own swimming pool for a couple of hundred dollars a night!
- Dr. Phillips – This high-end neighborhood is home to Restaurant Row, a stretch of Sand Lake Road known for its fine dining options, perfect for a ladies night out. It’s also close to Universal, Seaworld and Disney World.

8 Bachelorette Party Activities in Orlando
Ride a Party Bus
No matter where you decide to stay, chances are you will need to go somewhere at least 30 minutes away during your stay because of how spread out Orlando is.
Instead of letting this be an obstacle, make it an activity with an Orlando party bus.

Wraparound seats, surround sound speakers and LED mood lighting create a fun atmosphere for everyone, turning traffic into a good thing!
Whether you want to use the bus for a bar crawl, Park transportation, or a fun airport transfer, it is guaranteed to be a highlight of the trip.
At Double Black Transportation we offer one-ways, round-trips and hourly service. We also offer tons of discounts, including weeknight, daytime and multi-day, ensuring you get the best rate in town!
Hit a Theme Park
No Orlando guide is complete without mentioning its close to 20 theme parks.
Disney World and Universal are the most famous, but far from everything Orlando has to offer. For more adult-oriented entertainment, check out Epcot with international pavilions, food and wine festivals and futuristic attractions.
We recommend arriving early when you visit any of the Parks in order to avoid crowds and the heat. Park apps and express passes are also great ways to enhance your experience.

Dine in Style
You will most likely want to experience at least one fine dining restaurant during your bachelorette weekend.
We recommend planning it on the first night as it’s a great time for everyone to catch up over some sparkling rosé.
Some of our favorite options are Chatham’s Place, an intimate farm-to-table spot in Dr. Phillips and Capa, a Spanish restaurant on the roof of the Four Seasons.
Rent a Boat
Orlando has a variety of lakes, each with its own unique features and crowds. Some of our favorites include:
Lake Conway – Southeast of downtown Orlando, this is an ideal spot for recreational boating with water skiing, tubing or wakeboarding. It’s crystal clear water also makes it a popular spot for diving and snorkeling.
Lake Tohopekaliga – Near Kissimmee, this lake is known for bass fishing, a great activity for a sporty bachelorette party.
Lake Eola – Near Downtown Orlando, it’s famous for its stunning fountain, swan boats and surrounding park. This can be a great, affordable option, especially if you’re already staying near Downtown.

Bar Hop
Unless you don’t drink, bar hopping is an essential part of most bachelorette weekends.
If it’s during the day you should check out Park Avenue in Winter Park or previously mentioned Restaurant Row in Dr. Phillips. You can even experience a themed bar hopping experience in Disney Springs.
At night, Downtown Orlando is the best place to bar hop. Wall Street Plaza has a collection of bars and restaurants centered around an open-air courtyard. It’s got everything from casual pubs to dance clubs.
No matter the time of day, it should come as no surprise that an Orlando party bus is the best way to hop between drinking establishments!
Unwind at a Spa
Relaxing at the spa during a bachelorette weekend is often one of the highlights of the trip. With all of Orlando’s luxury hotels, it should come as no surprise that there are a plethora of world-class spas.
However, there are also some great affordable options if you would rather stay away from the five star hotels.
Our favorite options are the Ritz-Carlton featuring 40 treatment rooms, the tropical-themed St. Somewhere Spa inside Margaritaville and the affordable Woodhouse Day Spa.

Adventure Outdoors
Considering Orlando’s great weather it would be a shame to not spend a good portion of your weekend outside.
Golf, airboating, zip lining and kayaking are some of the most exhilarating activities Orlando has to offer.
Almost all of these activities are best to do in the morning before it gets too hot and impedes on our evening plans.
Go Shopping
Orlando is a shopaholic’s dream destination with all sorts of options.
You can save money by checking out the premium outlets on I-Drive, get great Disney merchandise at Disney Springs or get a little bit of everything at the Mall at Millenia.
We always recommend combining shopping with entertainment by visiting either Disney Springs or ICON Park where they offer outdoor attractions, dining and boutiques.
Schedule your bachelorette party in August to take advantage of Florida’s tax-free weekend on back to school items which can include clothing and some electronics.
And if you’re looking for a unique keepsake, book a permanent jewelry party at the Voltage Bar.
